As soon as I saw the trailer for Temptation Island, I knew I was going to be hooked. After watching the first episode, I realized I was not wrong – but I don’t think I fully realized how insane this entire concept is.

Four couples who are at a crossroads in their relationship are embarking on a journey to find out if they’re meant to be together. In addition to the four couples, there will be 24 single males and females in the house, who are here to find love. We learn that the men will be staying in the Beach Villa, and the ladies will be staying in the Mountain Villa, separating each couple from their significant other. They will basically “date” these single people, and decide whether or not their current partner is the one, or if they’re ready to leave their relationship behind. (And potentially jump into a new one.)

Before I go any further, I have to say – this is literally the most terrible idea I’ve ever heard of. Terrible. I have so many thoughts, but let’s talk about the couples first.

Evan and Kaci are both 28, from LA,and have been dating off and on for the past ten years. Kaci feels like they’re both getting older, and she wants more of a commitment from Evan – an engagement ring, to be exact. Kaci tells us that her parents are super religious, and because she and Evan live together, they feel as though they’re “living in sin”. We also learn that Evan’s father cheated on his mother – and was murdered because of it. I can’t imagine what that must be like to carry around, however, I do agree with Kaci. If this is the girl you want to spend your life with, why not put a ring on it?

Shari and Javen are both 25, and are also from LA. They’ve been dating since they were 16 – they’re basically high school sweethearts. They’re each other’s first everything, pretty much. We learn that Javen has cheated on Shari in the past, which definitely causes her to have some reservations in their relationship.

John is 35 and Kady is 30, and they live in Texas and have been together for the past three years. It seems like Kady is the one who is questioning their relationship. She’s always wanted to be with more of an “Alpha Male”, and wanted someone more Southern than John. Kady tells us that John is “not the mold that I’m used to.” John tells us that Kady has questioned his masculinity in the past, and he hopes that this experience makes her realize what she has.

Lastly, we have Nicole and Karl. Nicole is 25 and Karl is 31, so there’s a bit of an age gap between them. They’ve been dating for 2 1/2 years. When they first met, Nicole had a boyfriend, who she ended up breaking up with and then started dating Karl. Nicole wonders if someone older would connect with Karl more than she would ever be able to. Karl worries that because Nicole left her last boyfriend for him, could she leave him for someone new?

The Couples all mingle with each other, check out their living quarters, and meet the host, Mark. They toast to finding the answers that they are seeking.

Mark, the host, digs a little bit deeper with the couples. He learns that Javen is here for redemption – he wants to prove to Shari that he’s changed. John tells us he’s worried that Kady is going to find a “Country Boy” and leave him behind. “We only have one life to live,” Kady says nonchalantly. “I don’t want to waste it on the wrong person, and you don’t either.” Kaci reiterates that she wants to get married, and Evan tells us in a confessional that he doesn’t understand why it matters so much. (God, guys are seriously so stupid.🤦🏼‍♀️) Nicole and Karl share their fears from earlier. It’s very clear to me that Kaci and Evan and Shari and Javen want their relationships to work, and want to be together when this is all over. I’m pretty sure Nicole and Karl want to stay together, too, but I’m not 100% positive on where they’re at. I’m totally confused on what Kady and John want. Time will tell?

Mark tells The Couples he has a surprise for them, and after a dramatic waterfall scene, stage lights shine down upon them, and 24 Singles are presented before them. Let the games begin! Shari is already annoyed – she immediately looks at the group and tells us, “I’m not impressed. Sorry not sorry.” (Dead.)

Let’s meet some of these singles….

Hannah is 22 and an “entrepreneur.” She tells us that this means she’s a Hustler. “When I see something I like, I go after it. And I like what I see.”

Johnny, 31, is from NYC and is a chiropractor. “I’m great with my hands and I’ll always have your back.” 🙄

Jeffri, 31, is a flight attendant from Arizona. She definitely has her sights set on Karl – which Nicole is not here for. She winks at him before she leaves the stage, and Nicole tells her, “Not having it.”

Brittney is 27 and lives in Cali. She’s a yoga retreat owner, and out of all the singles, she’s definitely my fav. She seems super sweet and genuine. (Unlike literally every other girl in the house.)

Allie is 26, and is an Academic Advisor from Fort Lauderdale. “I have a Masters in communication, so I’ve mastered the art of persuasion.” Shari’s eye roll at this is everything. Allie thinks Shari is intimidated by her.

Roman, 28, is a Sales Rep from Kentucky, and a true Southern Gentleman. John looks worried that Roman will be the one to win Kady over.

Sheldyn is 25, and is a student from Texas. She’s basically here to fuck your man.

Katheryn, 30, is a Medical Aesthetician from Nashville. She refers to herself as a Southern Belle, but she seems like trouble to me.

After a small introduction from everyone, The Singles are sent back inside. Shari and Javen are already arguing – Javen made a comment about how none of the guys are anything to look at, and Shari questions him – “So you like your choice of girls?” Javen tries to explain that he doesn’t, but Shari is pissed. The Couples go off to their own Villas, and we’re done for the night.

The next morning, The Couples meet back up again with Mark. They learn that the ladies will be hanging out with the Single guys today, and the guys will be hanging out with the Single girls. They’re going to have cocktails and get to know each other.

Kady and Carlos seem like they have a connection, but it’s coming across to me more platonic than anything else.

While I originally thought Kady was the only one into this entire thing, I was clearly mistaken. Don’t let John fool you – he’s loving the attention. I honestly didn’t care for him the moment he stepped off the boat, and my first impression wasn’t wrong – he’s a tool.

Evan seems to be feeling Brittney, but I think this relationship is also platonic. I think Evan is anxious and Britney is the only down to earth, sweet girl in the house.

Johnny is super aggressive toward Shari – unnecessarily so.

Jeffri, who originally had her sights set on Karl, starts chatting it up with Javen. It isn’t long before she ventures back to Karl, and she’s definitely interested. It seems like Karl is into her, too.

John is flirting it up with Katheryn – he clearly has a type, seeing that she looks exactly like Kady.

After their day mingling with The Singles, The Couples meet back up with Mark. Mark tells them that he is going to give each person from The Couples a necklace – if one of them decides he/she doesn’t want their significant other to go on a date with someone, they’re allowed to choose one person, and once they put the necklace on that person cannot go on a date with their S.O. It doesn’t mean, however, that they can’t hang out and talk (or hook up), just no dates. Mark asks if anyone would like to give their necklace to someone, and no one does – except Kady. She clearly knows her man, because she gives Katheryn that necklace so damn fast.

In return, John decides to give Roman his necklace, basically to be tit for tat with Kady.

The Singles leave, and The Couples are treated to a nice dinner. Mark joins them and asks them their thoughts so far. Evan tells him that it’s “wild to be put in this situation.” The guys all agree that the Single girls were pretty aggressive and came on strong, and the girls thought the Single guys were mostly respectful.

Shari shares her experience with Johnny and how he was aggressive, which causes Javen to get upset because Shari apparently didn’t tell him this sooner.

Mark drops a bombshell that this is the last time The Couples will see each other before they leave the island. Mark gives them ten minutes to say their goodbyes. Shit just got real.

Everyone is tearful and anxious, except for Shari and Javen, who are still arguing. When it’s time to say goodbye, they put their arguing aside and embrace each other. Everyone is super emotional as they part ways.

Wow. What an episode! What did you guys think? Which couple do you think will last? I’ve already changed my mind about Shari and Javen – I thought they were solid at the beginning of the episode, but those petty fights build up.

We’ll just have to wait and see!

Until next week…..

I took a small hiatus, but I’m back! And #PumpRules is also back, w/Stassi & Ariana’s (aka, The Ice Queens) Birthday! But let’s not get ahead of ourselves.

We start out at The Dog House, where LVP is hosting an event to stop the Yulin Dog Meat Festival. The whole crew is there, and they have tattoos on their cheeks that say “Stop the Torture”. They’re taking pictures with LVP’s pups, and uploading them to social media in hopes to spread the word and stop the Yulin Festival from happening.

Jax tells the group that he talked to Sandoval, and heard that James had gotten fired from Sur. This news thrills Kristen. “The Sur Goddesses are shining down on me.” (Honestly, I find Kristen’s hatred for James very extreme. It’s a little much.) James shows up, a little later than the rest of the group. We learn that he knows Lisa fired him, but he plans on getting his job back, and he would never miss this event. Meanwhile, Scheana is telling Brittany & Jax that she has to sneak out early because she has a happy hour date with Adam. Britt wants to know what’s going on with her & Adam – and Scheana basically says that they’re kind of seeing where it’s going, nothing serious. I’m LOLing at Jax in his confessional, because he is absolutely right – “Scheana only has one speed – psycho stalker girlfriend.”

Ariana & Stassi are chatting, and they both decide it’s for the best if James doesn’t attend their joint birthday party. Ariana is torn, because she’s friends with James, but she also knows it’s Stassi’s party too, and her BFFs (Katie & Kristen) would not feel comfortable with him there. We see LVP pull James aside, and she tells him that he needs a major shift in his attitude. James assures Lisa he will change. When he leaves Lisa, Ariana calls him over to talk with her and Stassi. She starts off by saying that some people wouldn’t feel comfortable with him at the party, and before she can say anything else James cuts her off and asks, “So you’re disinviting me?” Stassi immediately speaks up and takes the blame, but James doesn’t care. He brings up how Katie just got him fired – to which Stassi shoots, “No, you got yourself fired.” James is done with the conversation, and he tells us in his confessional that he thought Ariana was a leader, not a follower, but he was wrong.

Over at the Tina K. Salon, Brittany & Lala are getting “Booty Smoothies”, which is basically a facial for your butt. Lala asks Britt if anyone has said anything to her about “being worried.” Brittany asks, “About Jax?” And Lala says yes. When Britt tells her no, Lala admits that Sandoval & Ariana had expressed some concern that Jax could eventually go back to his old ways. Brittany’s feelings are hurt – she truly sees a change in Jax, and she’s surprised that Tom & Ariana would say that.

Stassi and Beau are really cute. I’m so happy that Stassi is in a healthy relationship where she can be herself. It’s so refreshing to see, especially after watching how Patrick treated her last year. They’re both just hanging out, and Stassi is basically going on a rant about turning 30, and how she feels like she’s actually a woman. (LMAO, as someone who just turned 30 last month, I totally get this.)

At Scheana’s new apartment in Marina Del Ray, Adam is helping her put together a daybed. Basically the entire scene is Scheana trying to coax Adam into sleeping with her, which we learn, he is not. I just wanna shake Scheana and tell her to stop. 🤦🏼‍♀️ She’s such a pretty girl, she doesn’t have to act so ridiculously desperate.

Lisa is at TomTom, and James’s Mother, Jacqueline, comes to meet her. Lisa called her because she basically wants her to step up and help her son go down the right path. This scene was extremely hard to watch, and it’s easy to see why James thinks it’s okay to speak to women the way he does, based on his Mothers responses to Lisa’s concerns. Lisa tells Jacqueline that James has an unbelievable disrespect for women – to which Jacqueline replies, “When women come at my son, where does he go to?” Lisa must be as shocked as I am, because she tries a different approach. “He’s drinking-” Lisa starts, but Jacqueline cuts her off. “Stop right there, that’s not what we’re talking about right now.” Clearly, Jacqueline just doesn’t wanna hear it, or deal with it. This doesn’t deter Lisa though. “He’s a different person.” Jacqueline says she understands, but when women are attacking him, how does he defend himself? “Not like that!” Lisa exclaims. (Preach!). Jacqueline continues to make excuses for his son. “People provoke him, Lisa! He’s 26 years old.” Lisa realizes she isn’t getting through to her, so she just drops the bombshell that she hopes will wake Jacqueline up – James has been fired. Jacqueline is very upset – she wants to know what he did to get let go. Lisa literally tells her that he’s calling other coworkers sluts and whores, and Jacqueline wants to know “what set him off”? Is this for real? Lisa has had enough and she basically tells Jacqueline what’s up. Jacqueline begs Lisa to give James back Tuesday Nights, but Lisa cannot agree to that, though it clearly upsets her. Jacqueline tells Lisa, “You’re his Mother Figure.” “No,” Lisa tells her, “You’re his Mother Figure. I need you to be strong for your son.”

Stassi, Kristen and Katie are shopping for The Winter Party, and they’re just basically talking about Stassi turning 30. Stassi has an epiphany – “I’m not gunna be able to have meltdowns anymore.” (LMAO.)

The Toms are at Lisa’s – Schwartz goes to count shirts, and Lisa has a chat with Sandoval about James. Lisa thinks that between herself, Sandoval & James’s Mother, Jacqueline, the three of them could really help him change. Lisa tells Sandoval, “He may not work for me anymore, but I’m not going to desert him.” I honestly can understand Lisa’s desire to help him – while I don’t think James’s behavior is okay, I do feel sorry for him in a way. I think he had a hard childhood and really had to fend for himself. I’m not saying it excuses his behavior, but I do think he needs help, and I don’t think he has many other people in his life who are there for him.

We’re setting up for the party, and the girls are getting ready. Stassi and Ariana decide to dress exactly the same so they don’t “out-hot each other” which I think is amazing and hilarious. I’m also LOLing at their confessionals – Ariana tells us, “It wasn’t the original goal, to be twins.” While Stassi tells us, “That is what I hoped for.” LMAO.

Jax arrives, and Britt takes a break from getting ready to tell him what Tom and Ariana had said. Jax is upset – he thinks Sandoval is jealous because Ariana never wants to get married.

Lisa goes to James’s apartment, to let him know she spoke with his Mother, and basically that she’s here for him. James opens up to Lisa about his childhood, and he also expresses he’s not drinking. Lisa learns that James is basically paying for his family – his father and his brothers. Lisa finds that very admirable, and it’s understandable why she has a soft spot for him.

The party is in full swing! Scheana definitely seems jelly that Ariana and Stassi are getting along so well. She thinks it’s weird.

Jax pulls Sandoval aside, and confronts him about what he said. Sandoval apologizes and they quickly make up -it’s basically water under the bridge. (I am LOLing at Sandoval in his confessional, though – “Jax is a recovering sociopath.”)

Raquel is here – Kristen decides to bring her a “Welcome Drink.” The Girls end up briefly arguing over James – Raquel accuses Stassi and Kristen of “wanting him to fail” and Stassi says, “He called my best friend fat, of course I want him to fail!”

Fast forward to 1:49 AM – Stassi inside, taking off her makeup, and texting & calling Beau excessively because she wants him to come to bed with her. We see Beau still partying with all the guys, and he definitely doesn’t hear his phone. I’m unsure if something went down that we didn’t see – there’s a missing gap from the party, I’m guessing, hence the fast forward. Stassi thinks Beau is ignoring her and is getting pissed.

She smashes her phone down, and we can hear her crying in bed. Looks like 30 can still bring a birthday meltdown!

Next week it looks like we find out what happened between Stassi and Beau. We also learn that Lisa plans on bringing back James on Tuesday’s – much to everyone’s dismay.

What’d you guys think of this weeks episode!? Leave me a comment!

Until next week….

We’re back at Pride, where James is walking around telling everyone (or himself, really) that he’s a “star” and that “people are trying to sink my boat.”  They replay what he said to Katie last week, and I’m just disgusted.

Everyone is still out back, but they’re all kind of scattered into their own little groups.  Raquel is now talking to Scheana about the whole situation, and she tells her that she doesn’t know if Hope is a reliable source, which Scheana agrees with. Stassi tells us in her confessional that it’s common knowledge that “James cheats all the time.” Back to Raquel and Scheana – Raquel feels like “James broke her heart” – did she mean Kristen, or Hope? – so now she feels like the girls are coming for her.  Scheana feels like “Hope tells a lot of stories”, so she doesn’t know what to believe.  Basically Scheana has Raquel’s back, but I’m getting a weird vibe from it.  It’s not coming across as completely genuine to me…I feel like Scheana is currently on the outs with everyone (maybe not on the outs, but she’s not BFF’s with the rest of the girls) and she is going to cling on to Raquel to have a girlfriend.  Which is actually kind of sad.

Raquel seeks out Hope; Hope and Kristen are talking, and Raquel asks if she can talk to Hope alone.  Kristen excuses herself, and Raquel asks Hope what went down at Coachella.  “Coachella was minimal; us hooking up became more and more of a thing.”  Before I go on, can I just say one thing?  Why are we all pretending like what Hope did isn’t super fucked up?  We’re all going after James here, and Hope is clearly no saint. Raquel asks, “You’ve been sleeping with James since Coachella two years ago?”  To which Hope replies, “I’ve been sleeping with him for three years.”  This is so fucked up.  Raquel “needs more proof”, which literally just blows my mind.  Hope goes on to tell Raquel that she’s a beautiful person and James is just horrible, blah blah blah.  Hope, get off of your high horse.  What you did is absolutely despicable, and I’m not giving you credit for coming clean to Raquel, because I don’t think your intentions in telling her are genuine.  If Kristen wasn’t coming for James this season, would this have even come out? Probably not.

Jax is behind the bar, and Stassi approaches and asks him for some drinks.  Jax asks Stassi what’s going on, and Stassi says that a lot of shit with Raquel and James, and that James is basically talking shit to everyone, and that he’s so weird.  I’m honestly LOLing at James when he creepily waltzes up behind Stassi, completely wasted.  He asks Jax for a drink – well, more like demands a drink, and is just being rude, and Stassi tells him to stop it.  Of course, in typical James fashion, he always has to take it one step too far – “You’ve gotta be able to take a joke, Stassi, you’ve got a dildo up your ass.”  Jax looks appalled, while Stassi looks mildly amused and disgusted.  “I wish I had a dildo up my ass.”  LMAO, I love her.

Lisa catches James looking wasted, and is concerned.  She pulls aside Raquel and tells her that she basically needs to get James in order, and she’s sorry to put this on her but she doesn’t want to see him with another drink in his hand.  I don’t think anyone, let alone Raquel, is capable of stopping James Kennedy from continuing to drink when he’s already wasted, but hey, I mean, we can try, right?  Raquel finds James and tells him that Lisa doesn’t want to see him drunk.  But then, she brings up Hope.  I have to remember that Raquel is super young, so I shouldn’t be so judgey.  But Jesus, why in Gods name would you bring up Hope right now?  I get it, you’re pissed, you’re confused, you’re hurt, you don’t know who to believe.  But right now is absolutely not the time to talk about whether or not James fucked Hope.  You know he’s completely wasted, this conversation is not going to go anywhere positive.  Of course, James gets pissed off and says, “Tell that whore to go fuck herself.”  James is annoyed, and just kind of walks away.  Raquel actually follows him, practically chasing him down the street, calling his name.  Christ, have some self respect.  If all of these girls are constantly saying that they fucked your boyfriend, then guess what?  They probably actually did.  Sorry not sorry.

It’s the day after Pride, and we’re at Katie and Tom’s.  I’m dying at Tom, so hungover on the couch, saying, “All of these half shots add up.”  LMAO.  Katie is telling Tom what happened between herself and James at Pride.  Tom is shocked that James went there with Katie (again!) and says that he’s a fucking asshole.  Katie is just over it – the body shaming is completely unacceptable, and I agree with her.  Tom gets up to hug her, and I’m crying laughing at Tom in his Mumu – I love them.  BUBBA ❤

Over at James and Raquel’s, James is putting together furniture, and they’re rehashing the day before.  James is saying that Hope is a stalker, and everyone is coming for him – and I’m confused why he feels like he is the victim? Raquel feels like they were coming for her, not James.  Peter calls, and James answers all excited to talk to the Birthday Boy (Peter and Carter are having a joint birthday party later on that night at Sur) but Peter tells him, “I have to disinvite you to my party.”  James tells us it’s a “gutting feeling.”  James, what did you expect after your behavior at Pride?  Raquel tells him that his actions have consequences, and James kind of blows it off, saying that he blames Sandoval’s drinks because “they don’t taste like alcohol” and it all just kind of snuck up on him. Raquel disagrees with this – she thinks that James has been drinking a lot, and she doesn’t like the person he becomes when he does drink.  She also doesn’t want him to get fired – she tells him Lisa was not happy with him yesterday, and James groans, as if this is first time he realizes how fucked up he actually was.  Raquel says she doesn’t want James to drink ever again (which is honestly ironic, because she’s in her confessional with a martini right next to her, LMAO.)

Over at Sur, Lisa is talking to Peter, and in comes Teddi!! (For those of you who don’t know, Teddi is on RHOBH with Lisa.)  I was super excited for a Teddi cameo, honestly.  Teddi apologizes for the loss of Lisa’s brother, and even though Lisa doesn’t want to talk about it, Teddi is very sweet.  They sit down and have tea, and I really like the friendship between these two.  Teddi’s brother is moving to LA, and Teddi was hoping that Lisa could interview him for a possible job at Sur – and Lisa says that she’ll interview him.  Back to LVP’s Brother – my heart hurts for Lisa.  I feel like she needs more time to mourn and grieve, and I just want to give her a hug.

It’s Peter and Carter’s Birthday Party!  I’m LOLing, because Scheana came to the party with Adam, the same guy she tried to set up Brittany with last year when her and Jax were going through some shit.  Sandoval’s dad is there, and they’re basically twins.  Brittany and Stassi are talking – and Scheana joins them, bringing them cake to share.  (LOLing at Stassi’s eye roll, so annoyed that Scheana interrupted her and Britt.)  Brittany asks Scheana what she thinks about the whole situation with James, and nothing Scheana says even remotely makes sense.  She starts by saying that Hope has made up stuff in the past, which pisses Stassi off. But she keeps flip flopping with her opinion, because at one point she says she believes that James has definitely cheated on Raquel at some point in their relationship.  Stassi is annoyed with her – she tells her that she doesn’t have loyalty to anyone, and everyone is bitter about it.

Meanwhile, Peter tells Jax he’s officially hired at Sur, which I think we all saw coming.  Stassi and Britt have parted ways, and now Stassi and Ariana are talking about their upcoming birthdays, and they’re going to throw a joint party, and it has to be better than Carter and Peter’s.  (I’m loving this new friendship, FYI.  And the way they describe it – Stassi basically stalked Ariana and wanted to be friends with her, and Ariana got tired of always being a bitch to her and just embraced it.  LMAO.)  Scheana sees Ariana and Stassi laughing and having fun together, and she’s jealous and annoyed.  She says that Ariana is still one of her best friends, but she’s talked all this shit about Stassi and now they’re close. Scheana doesn’t know where she stands.  I think she just feels left out.

Katie is planning a girls night out, and wants it to be “Old Hollywood” themed.  She tells the girls, “It will be us, (meaning herself, Brittany, Stassi and Ariana) and Kristen.”  Ariana points out that Scheana will feel hurt that she isn’t included, and Katie says, “We don’t hang out with Scheana.”  Ariana feels bad, but she’s also still going to go.  She says that Scheana is a big girl, and if she has issues with the Witches of WeHo then she can fix it.  I’m really not sure how I feel about this, to be honest.  I see both sides, but I don’t like people feeling left out.

The next day we are at Artisan Cheese with Brittany and Jax.  They’re sampling different types of cheese, because we learn that they plan on opening their own business, “Mamaw’s Beer Cheese.”  LOL I love these two.  They sit down with their cheese platter, and Britt tells Jax how she’s going out with the girls, and Jax informs Britt that the guys are planning on having a guys night.  Britt talks about how she feels really bad for Raquel, and wants to invite her out with the girls.  She knows how Raquel feels, she’s been through it, and she worries that Raquel doesn’t have many friends in LA.  She doesn’t want her to go through this alone.  I think Brittany is honestly the sweetest baby Angel in the world. She genuinely has a heart of gold.

It’s Guys Night/Girls Night.  The guys are at Sur – James and Jax are working, and The Toms are here with Sandoval’s Dad to have dinner.  Schwartz tells Sandoval and his Dad that he needs to talk to James about what happened with Katie at Pride.  I love Schwartz, he’s so cute. He hates confrontation, but Katie is the love of his life and he has to stick up for her.  He approaches James, and James apologizes before Schwartz even says anything.  I love when Tom’s like, “Katie’s not fat, she’s sexy and luscious.” Then he tells James to say it, LMAO.  It’s so annoying though, because James acts like he’s genuinely apologetic, and then he talks shit in his confessional, saying,  I made fun of her weight, slightly. Everyone’s blowing it up into this big thing – bigger than her.”  You’re disgusting James.

The girls are all arriving for girls night, looking fabulous.

The Toms are at Schwartz’s apartment – I’m LOLing at Sandoval telling Schwartz that his shaker is really expensive, and to be careful….and then drops it.  LMAO.  Jax comes in on his little beer scooter thingy, and they’re just hanging out.

Back over with the girls, Britt tells the group she invited Raquel, and Kristen looks dismayed and says, “I thought you were joking.”  The Witches of WeHo are all looking at each other like WTF.  Brittany explains that she feels for her, and everyone is just kind of like, “You’re really nice, Brittany.”  It’s weird though, because it doesn’t seem like it’s in a complimentary way.  Raquel arrives, and Katie immediately is like, “Does anyone need to go to the bathroom?” And then the Witches get up and don’t even pretend to go to the bathroom, they literally sit at the bar and talk shit. Ariana and Brittany are very sweet; they are kind to Raquel.  Brittany expresses her worries, and she tells Raquel that she gets it, she’s been there.  The Witches rejoin them, and someone brings up James body shaming Katie, and Raquel said that she had no idea that James had said that. Raquel asks if they think it’s just when James is drinking, and Katie says she doesn’t care.  Stassi comes around; she gets it and feels for Raquel too.  I mean, look at Patrick.  Raquel, however, is not really here for this intervention.  “You guys don’t see the James that I see though.”  Kristen is being a total bitch to Raquel, and I’m not sure why.  Raquel isn’t at fault here, especially towards Kristen.  If anything, Raquel should be pissed at Kristen for bombarding her at Pride.  Katie is being a bitch to her also, but I can kind of see why Katie is.  I think she’s taking her anger out on Raquel for what James said, which isn’t fair, but I understand it in a very weird way.  I have no tolerance for the way James spoke to Katie, and Raquel makes excuses for him, which can be infuriating.  Katie is annoyed, and she tells the group that she doesn’t feel comfortable working with James any longer, and she’s going to talk to Lisa.  The group kind of looks shocked.

The next day we are at Sur, and Katie is there, waiting to speak with Lisa.  They sit down, and Lisa asks Katie if she’s okay, and she says yes, but she’s clearly acting weird.  Lisa tells her that she’s making her nervous, and asks if she should be worried.  Katie’s like, “Well…..” Katie then fills Lisa in on everything that went on at Pride with James, and Lisa didn’t realize the extent of how bad it was.  Lisa is worried that this will make Katie feel insecure, but that’s not what Katie is worried about.  Katie’s more upset that his behavior is tolerated and that he is able to get away with it.  She tells Lisa that the comment about her weight was her “Final Straw.”  Katie asks Lisa what she is going to do about the situation, and Lisa tells her that she will talk to James, but she hasn’t decided.  Katie then drops a bombshell that she can’t work with James.  Lisa says “So you’re basically giving me an ultimatum.”  Katie thinks about it and says, “Well, yeah.  I’ve only given one other ultimatum in my life, and that worked out, so….”

They leave us on a total cliff hanger, and in the previews for next week we see James literally crying and pleading with Lisa to let him keep his job.

I’m unsure how I feel about all of this you guys! What are your thoughts!?

Until next week….

Holy shit. I have so many thoughts after watching Part 1. This was absolutely insane and we’ve barely covered anything! Staying neutral is going to be so hard but I’m going to try my best.

Before I start – can we talk about how beautiful the ladies look? I’m loving (almost) everyone’s look. I’m not crazy about Kam’s – I’m all for pink, and I actually do like the dress, but her makeup is a little much. I also generally despise cut out shoulders, so Cary’s dress is not my favorite but she still looks gorgeous. My favorite look is definitely Steph’s; so natural yet still so glamorous and beautiful. D’Andra is a total Boss Ass Bitch in that pants suit – Slay, Queen. 👸🏻 Brandi always looks amazing in blue, totally her color. I also agree with Andy, I’m loving the high pony. LeeAnne is literally glowing, loving the dress, so pretty.

We start off with Andy greeting all of the Delightful Divas of Dallas. We learn that Brandi’s adoption is finalized, Mama Dee did not take the keys back from D’Andra, and Steph feels amazing being married to a Harvard Man. Andy tells Cary she “spilled the tea” in Denmark – he has questions about her casually mentioning that she dated Lance Armstrong. (It was only like, 6 months to a year.) Moving on to Kam – “Hey Girl” ~ LMAO Andy has her down. He calls her Nicole Kidman’s doppelgänger and I never noticed this before but I totally agree. Kam’s day is made. Last but not least; “Namaste, LeeAnne.” I’m literally crying watching them meditating – and at Brandi’s “WTF is going on?” Face. 😂😂

We start off lightly, and we have a montage of all the fun times the girls had. Steph & Brandi make me LOL every time I see them together. Callie-Roo is basically famous at this point. Andy asks Steph if the kangaroo is legal, and Steph says she honestly doesn’t know. We’re all laughing at Kam riding the bull, and how she pronounces it. We flashback to Steph having her vaginal rejuvenation procedure and Andy asks how Travis likes it. Literally only Andy Cohen could get away with these questions! LMAO.

We get to our first viewer comment, and it’s about LeeAnne giving D’Andra a lap dance when they were at the rodeo, and that it looked professional. Andy asks LeeAnne if she was ever a stripper (legit only Andy!) and she says no. She says it looks like it could be a good job, because she “talks shit for a living” for Andy. Andy compliments her on her shit talking, but I’m thinking this is more of a dig than actual compliment.

I hate being back in Beaver Creek so much, everything about this scene infuriates me. (Except for Brandi’s impersonations.) Andy asks if Justin Bieber rented The Westcott’s home in Beaver Creek, and we learn that he did not, but Taylor Swift did. (I think that’s so cool! I’m such a celebrity stalker LOL.)

Andy brings up D’Andra and LeeAnne arguing over who the “Queen Bee” is, and LeeAnne tells us that D’Andra (supposedly) said that being a housewife is all about status, and that none of them were actually qualified to be housewives until she joined the cast. Brandi interrupts LeeAnne and said that D’Andra never said that when they are at Beaver Creek, and D’Andra speaks up and says she never said that. Cary chimes in and says, “She said that there wouldn’t be a show without her.” I’m sorry, I call total bullshit on that. Cary has literally been tattling on EVERYONE all season – you honestly expect me to believe that D’Andra said that and this is the first time Cary is bringing it up? Please. 🙄 Brandi interjects and says that LeeAnne is the one who says that, and then she does an impression of her, saying, “You carry this show like a turtle on your back.” (Andy laughing at this made me LOL.) D’Andra also adds that LeeAnne is the one who went to InTouch Magazine, saying that there would be no show without her, and that, “all roads lead back to LeeAnne Locken.”

The girls continue arguing, and then D’Andra drops a bombshell. “LeeAnne, for two years I’ve held a secret about you so I’m going to reveal it right now.” D’Andra says that before she joined the show, LeeAnne told her that Cary was going to “Fat Shame” her like she did to her husband, Mark, in Season 1. (Just a side note, I’ve never seen Season 1.) This entire scene is so bizarre to me – LeeAnne denies saying it, but Cary freaks the fuck out on D’Andra, and tells her, “Fuck you for thinking I said that.” Why the hell is Cary so pissed at D’Andra for telling her something that LeeAnne had said? Cary says she never fat shamed Mark – and I honestly believed her (like I said, I didn’t watch the first season) and then we get a lovely clip of Cary telling us in S1 that Mark was a “total fixer upper” and that he was a “chubby plastic surgeon with man boobs.” For real? Can you imagine ever saying something like that about your husband? Yeah, me either. This honestly makes me see Cary in an entirely different light.

Andy asks LeeAnne if she ever said that to D’Andra, and she says no. Cary comes for D’Andra again and tells her that “she’s the dumb bitch that believed her” about L’s comment. (What is happening here?) I’m becoming increasingly annoyed with these three – I do believe that LeeAnne said that, and I also believe that Cary believes she said it as well, but she has it out for D for some reason. Kam is nodding in agreement.

We talk about Brandi & D’Andra’s unexpected reconciliation, which I love. D’Andra talks about how fun loving and light Brandi is, and I’m so pissed that the producers decide to take this moment to film the three girls on the other couch talking shit. So petty.

We’re back in Beaver Creek – this time to discuss Kam & Steph’s argument. Andy asks Kameron if she was sorry once she actually watched the scene back and realized that Steph never said what she thought she said. Kameron isn’t sorry, and just says that it was a misunderstanding. Steph stays true to herself and stands by the fact that she believes Kameron was making the moment all about her and that she was being selfish. I totally agree. Kameron still isn’t ready to let this go and begins to question Brandi again about why she didn’t tell anyone about Bruin. Then she actually comes for Stephanie, saying that she doesn’t think it’s okay to joke about having a surrogate. Kameron, what planet are you on? Steph made up a completely harmless lie on a whim because she was keeping Brandi’s secret. She was being a good friend, and she never joked about surrogacy. Everyone else agrees Kameron is totally is out of line and that Steph meant no harm and did nothing wrong.

Andy asks D’Andra what she thinks about the whole situation, and she says she thinks it’s none of Kameron’s business. Kameron uses this opportunity to say, “How can you say that when you’re always in LeeAnne’s business?” D’Andra claps back with, “That’s like the pot calling the kettle black and you’re very good at that Kameron.” Cary tells D’Andra not to “deflect” and I’m honestly just wondering when Cary got balls this season?

Stephanie’s segment has me super emotional. I have the chills rewatching her open up about her depression and suicide attempt. My heart hurts for her, but at the same time I’m amazed by her strength and courage and bravery. It takes guts to talk about mental health, and as someone who also struggles with depression, anxiety and takes antidepressants, I applaud her honesty. It’s not easy, but it’s so important to keep talking about these hard topics, because there is still such a huge stigma surrounding mental health in general. Everyone is very supportive of Stephanie, which makes me happy. She is so sweet, she deserves the best of everything – including friends.

LeeAnne is up next; we start off with her newfound love of mediation, her amygdala, and her & Rich’s relationship. Andy says he sees a change in LeeAnne, and she says that she meditates every morning and also sees two therapists. “You’ve never told me you see two therapists.” LeeAnne replies by telling D’Andra that they barely speak, so why would she have told her? (Which makes sense.) D’Andra says that they were speaking at the beginning of the season and she still didn’t share it. Cary butts in – “she just told me recently” and D’Andra gets pissed and tells Cary that she’s “talking to LeeAnne.” LeeAnne jumps down D’Andra’s throat for this and tells her not to be condescending to Cary. Cary says that D’Andra is being a bitch to her, but Brandi takes the heat off of D by interrupting and saying she doesn’t believe LeeAnne. She then confesses that Tiffany (as in Tiffany Hendra from S1) told Brandi that LeeAnne doesn’t see a therapist, and that it’s bullshit. LeeAnne doesn’t believe that Tiffany said that. Brandi tells her to tell them her therapists name – and at first I’m like, why wouldn’t she tell them? Then I thought about it a little more, and I realize that I wouldn’t share with the world the name of my therapist either. So I get it. It’s not really anyone’s business.

Andy reads another viewer comment – “Why aren’t you on medication instead of banging your bowl and blaming it on your amygdala?” LeeAnne says she “appreciates that she didn’t google it”, which D’Andra finds hilarious. LeeAnne snaps at D’Andra and calls her a bitch, and tells her to “shut the fuck up”, which I found extremely aggressive, seeing that D’Andra really hadn’t said anything. LeeAnne explains amygdala, and D’Andra speaks up, saying, “Last year it was PTSD, this year it’s amygdala, what’s it going to be next year?” Cary comes at D’Andra again and D has had enough. “Cary I’m sorry you haven’t had an opinion all year and now suddenly you have balls of steel!” D’Andra is on fire! 🔥

Andy brings up the rumor that LeeAnne has spread about Mark last year (he gets his d sucked at the roundup, by other dudes) and asks Cary why she was so receptive to being friends with LeeAnne after she said that. Cary says she wasn’t, but she has forgiven her and she saw a change in her and she deserved grace. (I would never be able to befriend someone who said something like that about my husband. Maybe I’d make nice for the show, but genuine friends? Fuck no.) Cary suddenly clarifies the rumor – it was a disgruntled florist who said it (like wait, what?????) and Andy points out that LeeAnne is still the one who started the rumor. D’Andra is the only one who says exactly what I’m thinking – it’s fucking weird that these two are friends and that they’re having dinner together with their significant others. I’m sorry, there’s just no coming back from that rumor, in my opinion.

Cary calls D’Andra out and tells her that she hasn’t been a good friend. Kameron says that D’Andra texted her and was talking shit about Carys business, as well as Brandi’s clothing line, BrandiLand. Cary says she “disparaged her business publicly.” Kam gives Andy her phone so he can see the message. “It’s not really disparaging her business publicly if she’s sending this to you privately.” Cary tells D’Andra that she thought they were friends and that she’s hurt. D’Andra vehemently denies that she sent those messages, and she gives Andy her phone so he can go through the messages and see for himself that they’re not there. Andy looks and confirms that the texts are not in D’Andra’s phone. Kam says she could’ve deleted them, which Andy agrees with. D’Andra says she didn’t delete anything, and Andy says he’s not saying he believes it, but it’s possible. LeeAnne tells us that D’Andra has two phones, and she finally loses it. “I do not have two phones! You’re fucking delusional!” Kameron is still badgering D’Andra, telling her to admit that she sent the messages. Kam wants to call AT&T and I’m literally dying when Andy goes into full blown dad mode and is like “We are not calling AT&T right now.” 🤣

Andy turns his attention to Stephanie and asks her if she still thinks LeeAnne has truly changed. Steph said that at the beginning of the season she did, but towards the end she felt like LeeAnne was triggered and reverted back to her old ways. LeeAnne keeps saying that she was pushed. Which brings us to Brandi and LeeAnne’s Feud.

Andy brings up what happened at the finale, and he asks Brandi if she was trying to provoke LeeAnne. Brandi says no, she was genuinely pissed off. Andy then comments that LeeAnne was “hissing like a cobra” at Brandi, and LeeAnne says, “I was?”

Yes, you were. And it was scary AF. Andy comments that Brandi and LeeAnne seemed to start off on the right foot, and LeeAnne wants to know what set Brandi off.

This question alone sets Brandi off, and I don’t blame her. Andy explains that he thinks LeeAnne telling D’Andra to “be careful” about being her friend is what triggered it, and Brandi agrees. Stephanie thinks this all goes way deeper than that, that they had issues prior to that that they never fully got over.

Andy also brings up LeeAnne’s allegation of Brandi being an “alcoholic.” I’m so annoyed during this scene – LeeAnne, please fucking own it. It doesn’t matter if you said it once, you still said it and insinuated it all season. None of the girls think Brandi has a drinking problem, including LeeAnne. LeeAnne apologizes, but Brandi calls her out and says that she already apologized, and then she went and said that she’s not sophisticated enough to be an alcoholic, that she’s just a drunk. Andy asks LeeAnne what that means and she says she was just being a wise-ass. Steph sticks up for Brandi, saying that’s not okay that she said those things, and that she inferred that Brandi had a problem all season. Steph says it’s not fair because it puts a label on her that’s not true. Agreed. LeeAnne apologizes again, saying that she’s genuinely sorry. Sorry, but I don’t buy it.

LeeAnne’s conversation with Mama Dee gets brought up – and I don’t remember what D’Andra says right now, but LeeAnne bugs out and tells her to “go jump in a lake and drown.” Like what???? LeeAnne had said in her blog that she recorded her conversation with Mama Dee, but then she admits to everyone that she lied. Andy’s like, “So you lied in your blog?” And everyone agrees that’s fucked up. “I’m really good at-” LeeAnne starts, and Andy finishes with, “Lying?” He then says, “You’ve copped to a lot of lying this season.” To which LeeAnne responds, “I’ve picked it up from them”, referring to Brandi and D’Andra.

Part 1 is over, and my jaw is still on the floor. What did I just witness? I honestly wrote OMFG at the bottom of my notes when this was over. This was a lot to take in. Tell me all of your thoughts! Are you on anyone’s side? Or do you see all angles? Leave me a comment!

Until next week…..
