Pump Rules is back y’all! I’ve been so excited for this, and as far as first episodes go, this isn’t a bad season opener.

We first see Lisa – she talks to us about friendships, and how she thought they we’re so solid. We get a couple of clips of Jax fighting with Sandoval, and The Witches of WeHo arguing. Lisa then tells us that we have some newcomers, and they are bringing just as much drama as their predecessors. We get clips of the newbies fighting, and pretty much everyone bugging out. Then we begin.

Bravo 2.png

We start out at TomTom – both Tom’s arrive in the sidecar. We learn that TomTom is thriving and has been open now for almost a year. Schwartz thinks it’s because they’ve hired such great workers. We meet Max, who is the general manager, and Dayna, who is either a hostess or a server – unsure which one. Schwartz says Max is the glue who holds everything together, and Dayna is so good at her job that she’s being trained by Lisa to work at Sur. We learn that Dayna has apparently hooked up with Max – last night. (I’m trying to give the newbies a chance but I just don’t care about Dayna or Max. I’ll try to be more open-minded, I promise!)

Over at Sur, we learn that Raquel is now a server. (Or is it surver? Whatever, LOL.) Brett is new too, and is also a server. Scheana is hanging all over him in typical Scheana fashion. She’s loving being the HBIC at Sur right now. Lisa is at Sur and asks Raquel how she’s doing. I’m dying when Raquel says that she feels like being in pageants really helps her as a server. Lmao – Lisa’s like, “That’s a new one.” Lisa also asks about James. Raquel says it’s triggering for him that she works there. Like obviously, Raquel. I think it’s super insensitive of her – but anything to be on the show, right?

Bravo 4.png

Scheana introduces Brett to Jax. We learn that Jax is basically the only one working at Sur – Katie, Lala, Brittany & Ariana no longer work there. Jax teases Scheana and asks her if she’s dating Brett. Scheana’s like, “No, we just met!” But they have hooked up. Brett tells us in his confessional that they kissed – and it wasn’t what he expected. A producer asks, “Are you saying she’s a bad kisser?” And he says yes! What a total dick! We also find out that Scheana hasn’t spoken to Adam at all, but she did briefly date Max, the GM at TomTom – but he ghosted her.

Switching back to TomTom, we watch Max and Dayna have a super awkward convo about their hookup the night before. Sorry – don’t get the Max appeal here? He looks like a tool and also seems like a total fuckboy. 🤷🏼‍♀️ We go back over to Sur, and Scheana asks Jax about his upcoming wedding. He talks about how things have been really weird with Sandoval – he said Sandoval’s been ignoring him, and he “demoted” him to a groomsman because he knows he has a lot going on. Jax says it like he’s doing Sandoval a favor, but I don’t buy that for a second. Jax is annoyed with Sandoval and is now being petty. Switching back to TomTom, Sandoval feels like Jax is not coming from a good place by demoting him.

Bravo 5

Stassi and Beau dine at TomTom. Stassi tells us how she is a NY Times Bestselling author (yay!) but she’s currently having a hard time because her grandmother just passed away. Poor Stassi, I feel so bad for her! Lisa greets her, and Beau goes to say hi to the guys while Lisa and Stassi chat. Lisa is proud of Stassi – though she can’t remember the name of her book, lmao. “She’s a bestselling bitch!” She asks about her friends, and Stassi confides in Lisa that she’s annoyed with Kristen. She says that Kristen has been talking about her Katie, because they’ve called her out for saying she’s broken up with Carter when they’re still living together, hanging out and sleeping together. She feels like Kristen is lying to her. Stassi thinks she may have outgrown Kristen and their friendship – she doesn’t feel like Kristen is growing as a person.

At Stassi and Beau’s, Stassi is writing her grandmothers eulogy, and is nervous about it. This somehow gets her in to talking about how at her funeral she wants it to be like a haunted house, and she also wants to be taxidermied so everyone can take selfies with her corpse. Lmaooooo, literally dead. I love that Beau just nods and goes along with her, and then tells us he finds it really creepy, but he just smiles. Stassi mentions that they’ll be missing Tom & Katie’s housewarming party because they’ll be at her grandmothers funeral. We know that Tom & Katie, Jax & Brittany, and Tom & Ariana have all moved to Valley Village, CA, and basically all have cookie cutter houses.

J and B.jpg

We go back and forth between all three couples in Valley Village. Tom tells Ariana how he was annoyed with Jax. Tom & Ariana buying a house together is a huge step for them and their relationship, because Ariana doesn’t care about getting married and does not want kids. Tom felt like Jax kept one-upping him about the house and “shitting all over it.” Ariana says that Jax “can’t help himself.”

Meanwhile, Jax is telling Brittany that him and Sandoval don’t really have that much in common anymore. “I’m getting married next month,” Jax says. Brittany says that she does wish Tom Sandoval would reach out to Jax more.

Tom & Katie are talking about their housewarming party and who is coming. Schwartz wants to make sure it’s okay with Kristen first before inviting Carter.

Back at Stassi’s, she tells us that Kristen is also moving to Valley Village, though it seems like her house may be further away from the other three couples. Stassi tells Beau she wants to see Kristen before they leave. She doesn’t care if Kristen is back with Carter, she just wants her to be honest about it.

Lala heads over to Villa Rosa to meet with Lisa. Lala is 7 months sober! (Yaaass girl!!!) Lala says she never wants to go back to the girl she was. She seems to be in a really good place. She tells Lisa that she did reach out to James, and she misses his friendship. You can tell Lisa feels for James, but she tells Lala, “he has to get sober.” They talk some more about how Lala would like to help volunteer at Vanderpump Dogs. (I would personally like to see Lala on RHOBH, but that’s just my opinon!)

Stassi heads over to Kristen’s apartment, and it’s obvious Kristen is upset. Stassi calls her out, and Kristen feels like if Stassi and Katie were truly her friends they would accept her situation without question. Stassi says she doesn’t care if she is with Carter, just to stop saying she is going through a break up if she’s not. Kristen is moving in a week, and she tells Stassi that Carter isn’t moving with her. (Stassi thanks the Breakup Gods, LOL.) Kristen tells us in her confessional that she did break up with Carter, but she can’t just “cut him completely off.” Sorry, I’m with Stassi on this one. That’s not a break up then. Stassi is happy to hear that Carter won’t be moving into Kristen’s new house, and they hug it out.

It’s the night of Tom & Katie’s Housewarming Party. (I’m dying at Schwartz in his mumu, lmao.) We meet Logan, who is also a server? Sorry, someone correct me if I’m wrong, please. Peter is there, and he pulls Dayna aside. I’m DEAD when we learn that Dayna is one of the chicks from the boys hotel party last season! Peter says he didn’t want things to be awkward between them, and Dayna’s like, “Why would they be?” Peter says they kissed in the bathroom, and Dayna denies it. Awkward AF. (I think Dayna did kiss Peter, but is denying it now because she likes Max. Just a thought.) Dayna is eyeing Scheana and Max suspiciously – she hears Scheana mention that Max is going to her Palm Springs house the following weekend, and is super jelly. What did you expect, girl? I’m shaking my head.  Jax asks Kristen where her boyfriend is, and she says, “He’s not my boyfriend.”  Cue Carter walking in, and greeting Kristen like a significant other.

Max and Brett are talking in the kitchen about Scheana.  Max totally downplays his relationship with Scheana (I mean, maybe it really wasn’t one) and Brett acts like he is annoyed by the fact Scheana “hangs all over him.”  Max calls her boy crazy.  Katie overhears all of this, and runs into the other room to tell Scheana.  Scheana confronts them, and is pissed.  “You’re the one who pursued me,” she tells Max.  She doesn’t get why Max is talking is about her – she thought that they were in a really good place and are like “best friends.”  Max totally doesn’t own anything he just said and immediately apologizes.  Scheana literally cries and is like, “I’m not boy crazy!” LMAO. Max and Scheana hug it out, while Dayna creepily watches and pouts.

Lala and Katie are chatting about Kristen and Carter.  Apparently, Kristen has been calling the girls super upset about her “breakup” with Carter.

Meanwhile, Max ends up pulling Dayna aside.  Because Dayna is now leaving TomTom to start working at Sur, he wants to hang out with her.  He has a thing about having a work romance.  (He didn’t want he banged her a few nights ago though, right?) Dayna asks if he anything is going on with Scheana – she admits she overheard that he’s going to her Palm Springs house.  Max says he is going, but not alone, and nothing is going on with Scheana.

Lala decides she is going to confront Carter.  She calls him out for all the shit he’s put Kristen though, and Carter comes back saying that Kristen still calls him all the time, and he just helped her earlier that day doing a photoshoot.  He said if Kristen wanted him fully gone, he would be gone. Kristen can see Carter and Lala from her spot inside the house, and is starting to freak out.

Jax and Sandoval finally talk. Sandoval tells him how he felt – that Jax was being a one-upper.  Jax brings up the wedding, and says he feels like Sandoval hasn’t reached out to him.  Lmao at Tom with the receipts.  He pulls out his cell phone and is like, “Jax, I’ve texted you!” Jax doesn’t really say much back to that.  Sandoval admits he was hurt he was demoted from Best Man, and Jax admits that he did that just to “get his attention.”  Jax basically re-asks Sandoval if he would be his Best Man, and Sandoval replies that he would be honored.  Then they hug it out.  (Lmao, I honestly really love this friendship, so I’m going to be upset if we find out they’re not friends any longer IRL.)

K and L.jpg

Kristen is pissed that Lala confronted Carter.  She goes off on her, and is super aggressive, calling her a bitch.  Lala is pissed and is like, “Baby girl, I’m here for you! Don’t talk to me like that.”  Lala feels like Kristen is treating her like she treats Stassi and Katie, which infuriates Kristen even more. This makes Katie intervene, and Katie honestly is a total bitch to Kristen.  She’s yelling literally in her ear, and it’s just unneccessary.  Brittany gets involved and tries to get everyone to talk it out and make up, but it’s not happening.  Kristen leaves crying.

We get a clip of what’s to come this season, and it looks absolutely wild.

Until next week!

I took a small hiatus, but I’m back! And #PumpRules is also back, w/Stassi & Ariana’s (aka, The Ice Queens) Birthday! But let’s not get ahead of ourselves.

We start out at The Dog House, where LVP is hosting an event to stop the Yulin Dog Meat Festival. The whole crew is there, and they have tattoos on their cheeks that say “Stop the Torture”. They’re taking pictures with LVP’s pups, and uploading them to social media in hopes to spread the word and stop the Yulin Festival from happening.

Jax tells the group that he talked to Sandoval, and heard that James had gotten fired from Sur. This news thrills Kristen. “The Sur Goddesses are shining down on me.” (Honestly, I find Kristen’s hatred for James very extreme. It’s a little much.) James shows up, a little later than the rest of the group. We learn that he knows Lisa fired him, but he plans on getting his job back, and he would never miss this event. Meanwhile, Scheana is telling Brittany & Jax that she has to sneak out early because she has a happy hour date with Adam. Britt wants to know what’s going on with her & Adam – and Scheana basically says that they’re kind of seeing where it’s going, nothing serious. I’m LOLing at Jax in his confessional, because he is absolutely right – “Scheana only has one speed – psycho stalker girlfriend.”

Ariana & Stassi are chatting, and they both decide it’s for the best if James doesn’t attend their joint birthday party. Ariana is torn, because she’s friends with James, but she also knows it’s Stassi’s party too, and her BFFs (Katie & Kristen) would not feel comfortable with him there. We see LVP pull James aside, and she tells him that he needs a major shift in his attitude. James assures Lisa he will change. When he leaves Lisa, Ariana calls him over to talk with her and Stassi. She starts off by saying that some people wouldn’t feel comfortable with him at the party, and before she can say anything else James cuts her off and asks, “So you’re disinviting me?” Stassi immediately speaks up and takes the blame, but James doesn’t care. He brings up how Katie just got him fired – to which Stassi shoots, “No, you got yourself fired.” James is done with the conversation, and he tells us in his confessional that he thought Ariana was a leader, not a follower, but he was wrong.

Over at the Tina K. Salon, Brittany & Lala are getting “Booty Smoothies”, which is basically a facial for your butt. Lala asks Britt if anyone has said anything to her about “being worried.” Brittany asks, “About Jax?” And Lala says yes. When Britt tells her no, Lala admits that Sandoval & Ariana had expressed some concern that Jax could eventually go back to his old ways. Brittany’s feelings are hurt – she truly sees a change in Jax, and she’s surprised that Tom & Ariana would say that.

Stassi and Beau are really cute. I’m so happy that Stassi is in a healthy relationship where she can be herself. It’s so refreshing to see, especially after watching how Patrick treated her last year. They’re both just hanging out, and Stassi is basically going on a rant about turning 30, and how she feels like she’s actually a woman. (LMAO, as someone who just turned 30 last month, I totally get this.)

At Scheana’s new apartment in Marina Del Ray, Adam is helping her put together a daybed. Basically the entire scene is Scheana trying to coax Adam into sleeping with her, which we learn, he is not. I just wanna shake Scheana and tell her to stop. 🤦🏼‍♀️ She’s such a pretty girl, she doesn’t have to act so ridiculously desperate.

Lisa is at TomTom, and James’s Mother, Jacqueline, comes to meet her. Lisa called her because she basically wants her to step up and help her son go down the right path. This scene was extremely hard to watch, and it’s easy to see why James thinks it’s okay to speak to women the way he does, based on his Mothers responses to Lisa’s concerns. Lisa tells Jacqueline that James has an unbelievable disrespect for women – to which Jacqueline replies, “When women come at my son, where does he go to?” Lisa must be as shocked as I am, because she tries a different approach. “He’s drinking-” Lisa starts, but Jacqueline cuts her off. “Stop right there, that’s not what we’re talking about right now.” Clearly, Jacqueline just doesn’t wanna hear it, or deal with it. This doesn’t deter Lisa though. “He’s a different person.” Jacqueline says she understands, but when women are attacking him, how does he defend himself? “Not like that!” Lisa exclaims. (Preach!). Jacqueline continues to make excuses for his son. “People provoke him, Lisa! He’s 26 years old.” Lisa realizes she isn’t getting through to her, so she just drops the bombshell that she hopes will wake Jacqueline up – James has been fired. Jacqueline is very upset – she wants to know what he did to get let go. Lisa literally tells her that he’s calling other coworkers sluts and whores, and Jacqueline wants to know “what set him off”? Is this for real? Lisa has had enough and she basically tells Jacqueline what’s up. Jacqueline begs Lisa to give James back Tuesday Nights, but Lisa cannot agree to that, though it clearly upsets her. Jacqueline tells Lisa, “You’re his Mother Figure.” “No,” Lisa tells her, “You’re his Mother Figure. I need you to be strong for your son.”

Stassi, Kristen and Katie are shopping for The Winter Party, and they’re just basically talking about Stassi turning 30. Stassi has an epiphany – “I’m not gunna be able to have meltdowns anymore.” (LMAO.)

The Toms are at Lisa’s – Schwartz goes to count shirts, and Lisa has a chat with Sandoval about James. Lisa thinks that between herself, Sandoval & James’s Mother, Jacqueline, the three of them could really help him change. Lisa tells Sandoval, “He may not work for me anymore, but I’m not going to desert him.” I honestly can understand Lisa’s desire to help him – while I don’t think James’s behavior is okay, I do feel sorry for him in a way. I think he had a hard childhood and really had to fend for himself. I’m not saying it excuses his behavior, but I do think he needs help, and I don’t think he has many other people in his life who are there for him.

We’re setting up for the party, and the girls are getting ready. Stassi and Ariana decide to dress exactly the same so they don’t “out-hot each other” which I think is amazing and hilarious. I’m also LOLing at their confessionals – Ariana tells us, “It wasn’t the original goal, to be twins.” While Stassi tells us, “That is what I hoped for.” LMAO.

Jax arrives, and Britt takes a break from getting ready to tell him what Tom and Ariana had said. Jax is upset – he thinks Sandoval is jealous because Ariana never wants to get married.

Lisa goes to James’s apartment, to let him know she spoke with his Mother, and basically that she’s here for him. James opens up to Lisa about his childhood, and he also expresses he’s not drinking. Lisa learns that James is basically paying for his family – his father and his brothers. Lisa finds that very admirable, and it’s understandable why she has a soft spot for him.

The party is in full swing! Scheana definitely seems jelly that Ariana and Stassi are getting along so well. She thinks it’s weird.

Jax pulls Sandoval aside, and confronts him about what he said. Sandoval apologizes and they quickly make up -it’s basically water under the bridge. (I am LOLing at Sandoval in his confessional, though – “Jax is a recovering sociopath.”)

Raquel is here – Kristen decides to bring her a “Welcome Drink.” The Girls end up briefly arguing over James – Raquel accuses Stassi and Kristen of “wanting him to fail” and Stassi says, “He called my best friend fat, of course I want him to fail!”

Fast forward to 1:49 AM – Stassi inside, taking off her makeup, and texting & calling Beau excessively because she wants him to come to bed with her. We see Beau still partying with all the guys, and he definitely doesn’t hear his phone. I’m unsure if something went down that we didn’t see – there’s a missing gap from the party, I’m guessing, hence the fast forward. Stassi thinks Beau is ignoring her and is getting pissed.

She smashes her phone down, and we can hear her crying in bed. Looks like 30 can still bring a birthday meltdown!

Next week it looks like we find out what happened between Stassi and Beau. We also learn that Lisa plans on bringing back James on Tuesday’s – much to everyone’s dismay.

What’d you guys think of this weeks episode!? Leave me a comment!

Until next week….

We pick back up where we left off – Jax proposed to Brittany, and now they’re going back to there apartment, where Jax has planned a (surprise) engagement party for them.

I love this scene so much!  It’s so sweet.  Britt is thrilled and so shocked.  I love when she sees Lisa, and she’s like “Lisa, you’re in my house!”  Lisa tells us in a confessional that she does believe Jax has changed – he seems honest and sincere.  I totally agree.

Britt so excited

Britt is so cute and so excited.  I love when she screams, “I’m engaged” off her balcony.

Billie Lee and JK

Over at Sur, it’s Thirsty Thursday, and James Kennedy is DJ-ing.  Billie Lee approaches him, and asks him, “Did you hear?  Jax and Brittany are engaged.”  (Honestly, I don’t know how I feel about Billie Lee.  I think she’s kind of  a pot stirrer.)  James can’t just be happy for anyone – he tells us “the devil got what he wanted”, “old man Jax is getting married,” and “I’m really happy for Brittany, I think Jax will make a great first husband for her.”  James – you’re literally on thin ice dude, with everyone.  It’s like, do you want us to hate you?

Back over at Jax and Brittany’s apartment, Jax and Brittany are talking out on the balcony, and Jax expresses that he wished his Mom had responded to the news.  We then learn that Jax and his mom haven’t been speaking – they haven’t spoken in almost six months, since his father passed.  There’s definitely some resentment/hurt there; apparently, his parent’s marriage was a little rocky before his father got sick, and no one was aware of how sick he actually was, because Jax’s mother kept saying he was fine.  Jax said that he had no idea that his dad was in the ICU, because his mother didn’t tell anyone.  Jax understands that his Mom was just trying to protect Jax and his sister, but he wanted the chance to say goodbye to his father.  Jax wants to talk to his Mom, and I hope that she comes around for him.

Kristen and Lala are talking about James – they think his ego is out of control, and that he needs to stop being an ass.  Kristen is still so pissed about how James hurt Brittany, and she’s definitely not letting it go or getting over it any time soon.

The party dies down when Jax and Brittany go upstairs, and honestly, in this scene, I’m like, “what is with Ariana?” I love Ariana – it’s weird to see her being so weird.  We find out why a little bit later.

Ariana, Tom Sandoval, Scheana and Lala are shopping for outfits, because Pride at Sur is coming up and it’s 80’s themed.  Scheana says that Brittany is glowing, which she truly is.  Lala believes Jax has changed – she understands what he went through, because she lost her father around the same time Jax lost his.  She tells us that there is no coming back from that, and that it changes you.  Sandoval is worried that “this won’t last” – that Jax is only proposing because he lost his dad, and when it “wears off” will he go back to his old ways?  Ariana also admits that she is cautious.  (Now her behavior at the Engagement Party makes sense.)  I understand being cautious…but I honestly feel like I would probably just keep it to myself.

Stassi and Kristen are over at Kristen’s, and I love Stassi telling us, “We’re maturing.  We don’t need to go to a bar in the middle of the day, now we just drink at home.” LMAO, love them.  Kristen is still pissed at James – she tells Stassi that she doesn’t understand why Lisa tolerates James’s bad behavior at Sur, and what he did to Brittany.  Kristen is coming for James.

We switch back over to Ariana, Tom, Lala and Scheana, who are still shopping.  Lala asks what everyone is doing that night, and Ariana tells them that her and Tom are going to dinner at James and Raquel’s.  (What?)  LMAO @ Lala – “I’d rather stab myself in the eyes.”  Lala fills them in on what James said to Randall at Coachella, and Sandoval is mortified.

At Kristen’s, Kristen is now telling Stassi that she met up with Hope, and Hope told her that she and James have been hooking up for years.  They hooked up while Raquel was sleeping in the next room, supposedly.  Stassi is shocked.  We see a flashback of Kristen and Hope, and Hope confirms everything Kristen is saying.  Kristen wants to go to Pride at Sur with Hope and confront James.  This should be…interesting?

Jax goes and visits Lisa at Villa Rosa (love it), and he asks her if he can have his job back.  Lisa is hesitant, but like she said, she sees a change in him, a vulnerability that was never there before.  She agrees to give him a chance, and she allows him to bartend at Pride, as basically a trial.  (This scene warms my heart, honestly.)

We’re at James and Raquel’s, and Ariana and Tom are over for dinner.  What is with James and all of his bragging comments?  Anyone who has to brag like that clearly isn’t actually happy.  It’s ridiculous.  I’m honestly kind of annoyed that Ariana and Tom are totally fine with him – what he did to Brittany was hideous.  Tom is trying to have them make amends, though.  He asks James how him and Jax are doing, and James says that he does feel bad, and that he wouldn’t have said what he said if he knew that Brittany was in the building.  I give Tom credit for saying, “You shouldn’t have said it even if Brittany wasn’t in the building.”  Truth.  James, always one to go just a little bit lower, says, “Then Jax shouldn’t have fucked Faith.”  Honestly, what the fuck is this kids problem?  Tom tells James he’s “literally being the White Kanye”  – saying fucked up shit, then taking it back and apologizing, and then saying it again.  James honestly doesn’t seem to care.

Pride at SUR

It’s Pride Day at Sur!  The girls look so cute.  I’m loving Scheana’s outfit, and I think Katie looks adorable.  I’m LOLing at Jax – “Some things never change.  I can still open a beer bottle, and Sandoval is wearing something feminine.  It’s good to be home.”  LMAO.  James is absolutely wasted, or at least, that’s how he appears to me.  He’s DJ-ing and he’s up on the bar and taking his shirt off and just acting like a total fool.

Kristen and Hope come sneaking in through the back, which makes me LOL.  She wants to blindside James. Oh boy.

KD and Hope w R

Picture from TamaraTattles.Com

Kristen and Hope see Raquel, and they ask her if they can talk to her, then they basically corner her in the bathroom.  Kristen starts.  “Are you aware or do you just not care?” Raquel asks, “Aware of what?”  Kristen – ” His infidelity, like all the time.”  Hope speaks up and admits to everything.

She tells Raquel that she’s been sleeping with James for years, and that they fucked at Coachella. Raquel doesn’t believe it.  She tells us in her confessional that “Kristen’s a little deranged.”  Okay – even if you thought Kristen was “deranged” – do you have no thoughts on the fact that Hope is standing in front you saying she had sex with your boyfriend?  I’m confused.

Stassi introduces Beau to Lisa, and she instantly loves him.  I love when she gives Stassi a thumbs up.  Stassi is literally glowing – you can see it, she’s just so happy.  Lisa likes that Beau lets Stassi be herself, where Patrick tried to suppress her.  She also likes that Beau did not comment on her ass. (Those flashbacks were absurd.  I forgot how fucking awful Patrick was.)

Pump Rules Sandoval

Pride at Sur is in full swing.  Jax is outside, and he’s playing nice with James.  Brittany approaches, and James gives her a “sincere” apology.  He gives them a gift basket of Tequila, and Brittany isn’t sure if she fully forgives him, but she’s 100% going to drink the Tequila, LOL.

Everyone is having fun, and then you see Raquel searching fucking everywhere for James.

R and JK

She finds him, and she pulls him aside and tells him that she was ambushed by Kristen and Hope, and fills her in on what they told her.  James loses his shit, and shouts, “Kristen is a fucking slut!”  (God, he’s so disgusting.)  He’s such a manipulator – he talks to Raquel like she’s stupid (which honestly, she doesn’t seem like the brightest bulb) but it’s so unacceptable, that’s your girlfriend.  It’s not her fault rumors are swirling around about you.  James claims that “everyone is obsessed” with him.  Oh please.  I’m LOLing when he tries to rope Jax into this – “Look at Jax and Brittany, they’re getting engaged!”  Jax tells us that a lot of girls did say they had sex with him – and that all of the allegations were true. wmoji

Raquel starts to cry, and that pushes James further over the edge.  “All of these stalkers, all of these bitches.”  Is he okay?

I’m LOLing at Schwartz dancing/grinding behind an unknowing Katie.  Raquel comes outside, and approaches Lala and Scheana, and tells them what’s going on.  Lala tells Raquel that it’s all true.  James enters the scene, and I love when Lala tells him to “fall back”.  (She’s such a bad ass, I love it.)  Lala goes on to tell Raquel to wake up, and that she just wants to shake her, and that she can’t be that dumb.  Lala is super annoyed, she tells Raquel that they’re fine, and then she goes back inside.

Sandoval joins, and James tells him that he’s the “only one who really cares”.  Tom points out to James that here have been a lot of allegations, but James denies that they’re true.

LALA isnt having it.jpg

Lala comes back with Katie, and she isn’t having it.  Kristen and Hope join as well, and they tell James to leave.  James is barely coherent at this point, he’s so sloppy and just not making any sense.  Lala tells him, “We need to get you intense help, dude.”  James snaps back that Lala needs help, which sets Katie off.  “She needs help?  Look at your pants, James.”

James then tells Katie that she shouldn’t be wearing those shorts, that they’re not “flattering.”  I’m screeeaming at the TV at this point -is this kid fucking kidding?  You’re going to try and fat shame Katie!? On what fucking planet do we live in that Katie would even be considered fat, for starters?  Also – even if she was overweight, WHICH SHE IS NOT, so fucking what!?  That’s your comeback?  You’re going to make fun of someone’s weight because you’re that much of a bitch?  God, sorry, I’m going off on a tangent, but this kind of stuff literally sets me off.  You’re the worst type of human, James.  Lala is 100% right – you need intense help.  It’s not okay to treat people that way.

James walks away, muttering that Katie needs to “lose some weight.”  My heart hurts for Katie in this scene – I’ve been in her position, and it’s a really horrible and humiliating feeling.  I’m super proud of her though; I know that she’s come a long way, and that she’s finally at a place where she feels good in her skin.  (And she should!  You look gorgeous, Katie.)  It’s just so shitty to see.  When you’re already so hard on yourself, and you work hard to get past those negative feelings and embrace yourself and love yourself, to have someone try and point out your flaws to purposely hurt you is disgusting.  I have no tolerance for that.  That’s not someone I could ever be around, because you’re literally the biggest piece of shit on the planet.  And I hope that Schwartz kicks your skinny, pathetic white ass.

Okay, I’m done with my rant.

I love that in next weeks preview, we see Katie tell Lisa that she can’t work with someone like that.  Preach babe.  No one deserves to be around that negativity.  His behavior is so unacceptable.

Until next week……..

Pump Rules is back and I couldn’t be more excited! Let’s just get right into it.

We start out at Sur – Scheana and Lala are heading into work, Katie is already waiting tables and Tom (Sandoval) and Ariana are behind the bar. Tom tells Ariana he forgot his head phones and I’m LOLing at the reason – it’s Tuesday, and James is DJ-ing. “James starts at one level and gets louder and louder.” Lala is at the front at the hostess stand, and we catch a quick glimpse of Billie Lee, who tells Lala “No phones allowed.” Also LOLing at Lala, “This bitch thinks she’s my boss, that’s real cute.”

Over at Brittany & Jax’s, we learn that Jax really regrets what he put Brittany through last year. He admits he took Brittany for granted. He tells us he left his job at Sur, but he didn’t take his dream job (the hockey one) because he chose being with his dream girl. Brittany is telling Jax that she is not looking forward to work because she doesn’t want to see James. Apparently at the last See You Next Tuesday event, James brought up Jax cheating on Brittany while he was DJ-ing.

Cut to Sur – Sandoval is telling James to “Watch it with the freestyling.” Hearing James say, “I don’t feel bad that I said it, I feel bad that Brittany was standing right next to me when I did,” honestly infuriated me. Ummmm I thought you and Jax were friends? Even if they weren’t – Brittany is such a sweetheart. Why would you ever want to upset her?

Back over at Brittany & Jax’s, we learn how upset Brittany was when it happened – she was hiding out in the lounge, in tears. Jax is livid and is so fed up with James. We learn that Jax has texted James, basically calling him out, which James interprets as “threats.” Eye roll.

Lisa & Ken arrive at Sur and they’re greeted by Lala. This is the first time that Lisa has been back to the restaurant since her brother passed, 5 weeks ago. Lala asks Lisa how she’s doing, and then she apologizes and says that it was a silly question given the current situation. Lala talks about how her dad passed two months prior, and Lisa and Lala share an intimate, sad but heartfelt, moment.

Scheana is waiting on some guy, who she’s flirting with. We learn from Scheana in her confessional that Rob broke up with her on August 31, 2017. Jesus. 🤦🏼‍♀️

Jax is dropping Brittany off at work, and he decides that he is going to go in and confront James. He tries to get James to go out back with him, but James refuses, saying he has work. Jax brings up the shit that James pulled the week before, and James apologizes. Jax tells him that “apologies don’t matter.” James asks Jax if he’s ever done something “without thinking twice about it.” Jax is pissed and he’s not accepting the apology. (I don’t blame him.) Jax tells James he’s not invited to any events that he and Brittany will be having in the future, which upsets James. James, what do you expect dude? You can’t go around acting like a total dick and think it’s okay. It’s not. He’s being such a trouble maker.

Over at the bar, Ken tells Lisa that she overheard Jax yelling at James. Lisa is concerned. Sandoval fills in Lisa on what went on with James, and she’s not happy with him. She thinks it’s extremely inappropriate.

Tom Schwartz, Stassi, and her new bae, Beau, are having dinner. I am so happy for Stassi! She broke up with Patrick last year, and she’s been dating Beau for the past 6 months. I love her confessional when she’s talking about him and she becomes emotional. “Are you crying?” “Yes, omg I’m so embarrassed I don’t know why.” LMAO I love her. ❤️

We learn that Schwartz is practicing the art of balance – instead of full shots he takes half shots. LOLOL. Jax joins them and fill them in on what happened with James, and everyone agrees that James is being a total douche. Jax drops the bombshell that he’s going to propose to Brittany on Thursday. Schwartz already knew, but Stassi didn’t, and she’s super excited. She tells Jax that she has seen a huge change in him, but she also threatens his life if he ever thinks about hurting Brittany again.

Katie, Lala And Kristen are getting ear piercings. Lala tells us that she and James no longer have a friendship. The final straw was when they were at Coachella, and James made a comment like, “We all know each other inside and out.” Randall, Lala’s boyfriend, was pissed. Lala thinks James is beyond disrespectful and she’s over it. She shares with Katie and Kristen that he thinks he can just act however he wants. Kristen is angry about what he did to Brittany. Katie tells us, “Times up on James.” James, the girls are coming for you. I’d be scared.

Over at Villa Blanca, Ken & Lisa are having lunch with The Toms. They’re discussing TomTom and the cocktail list they’re coming up with. I love their enthusiasm over their crazy drink concoctions. Lisa tells them that she needs something, so they’re going to put their list together with Pandora, because she’s creating a cocktail list also. This confused me. Why is Pandora creating a cocktail menu? Like Sandoval says, “I didn’t know Pandora was a mixologist.” Agreed. I feel like The Toms definitely do not get treated fairly in this partnership with Lisa.

Brittany & Stassi are taking their dogs to the dog park, and Britt is telling Stassi how happy she is in her relationship and how great things have been. Stassi hates that she knows about the proposal and is feeling super awkward trying to hold it in.

After The Toms left Villa Blanca, they meet up with Jax and go with him to pick up Brittany’s ring. Jax went all out – the ring he chose for Britt is absolutely stunning. He tells The Toms that he knows it’s big, and out of his budget, but when his father passed he used some of the money he got from him to buy the ring. He says Brittany deserves it, and when he looks at the ring he sees a piece of his dad.

Sandoval is shocked at the news of Jax proposing, and he tells Jax that he doesn’t want him to just propose because his Dad passed. Jax tells him that he knew Brittany was the one when his Dad passed – she was there for him and took care of everything. He realized that she was his soulmate.

It’s Thursday! Jax and Brittany are getting ready for their date, and Brittany has no idea a proposal is coming. Britt tells Jax that the Lyft is here, and Jax can’t fit the box with the ring anywhere, so he decides to just put it in his pants, lmao.

Stassi and Kristen head over to Tom & Katie’s. Katie’s cleaning and Tom is making drinks in the kitchen. Kristen starts talking about Jax and Brittany – she says that Jax sent her a weird message earlier in the day, and she thinks he’s going to propose to Brittany. Katie disagrees. Stassi bolts to the kitchen to “help Tom with the drinks” and I’m LOLing at the two of them freaking out that Katie and Kristen have caught on. Schwartz – “Their sixth sense is uncanny.”

Brittany & Jax are having dinner at Neptune’s Net in Malibu. Jax is super nervous, it’s really cute.

We flash back over to Stassi, Katie and Kristen, who are still discussing the supposed proposal. Stassi bugs out and tells them that Jax is proposing to Brittany – tonight!

Seeing the proposal was everything! We’ve seen Jax and Brittany go through so much together, and to see them persevere and endure the tough times to seeing this lovely, amazing, romantic moment is so wonderful. I am so happy for them. I genuinely believe people can change, and I do believe Jax has changed. I think Jax’s father passing hit him very hard, and made him reevaluate what was important in his life.

I’m thrilled for these two! “I’m engaged!”

Despite the drama with James, and the sadness surrounding Lisa’s brothers death, the episode overall was a happy one. I’m over the moon for Jax and Britt, and I’m loving that everyone is getting along. (I absolutely love that Lala is friends the Witches of WeHo, I love them!) I’m also so happy for Stassi – Beau seems so great, and she deserves the best.

I’m excited to see what’s to come this season!
